No legal entity has been registered for this service yet. The operator must supply an entity name, address and jurisdiction before these terms bind anyone. Until then, this document is a statement of intent for how the service is operated, not a legally enforceable contract.

Service description

Feedprobe is a diagnostic tool that fetches an RSS or Atom feed URL (submitted by you) and reports what it finds: the feed format, item count, publication dates, and specific defects. It does not store, share, or act on the data it retrieves beyond returning a report to your browser.

No accounts, no stored data

This service does not create accounts, store submitted URLs, retain reports server-side, or track individual users. Every use of the tool is independent and anonymous. No login, registration, or persistent identity is involved.

Billing

Pro tier — $9/month. The Pro tier adds bulk feed analysis, JSON export, and saved analysis history to the free single-feed diagnostic tool. No trial period has been set; when the payment processor is connected, the first billing period starts on the day of subscription.

No payment processor is connected yet. The pricing page includes a mock checkout form that does not take or store any real payment information. No subscription charges will be processed until a payment processor (Stripe or equivalent) is wired and this section is updated.

Billing period: Monthly. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled.

Failed payments: If a charge fails (card declined, expired, insufficient funds), the payment processor will retry automatically after 3 days and again after 7 days. After three failed attempts the subscription is suspended. During suspension the Pro features are not accessible, but the customer's data is retained for 30 days to allow them to update their payment method and resume. After 30 days of suspension the subscription is cancelled and data is not retained.

Cancellation: A customer may cancel their subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. There are no partial-month refunds.

Refund policy: Because the service is delivered immediately (diagnostic reports are generated and accessible at the time of use), all charges are final once processed. No refunds are given for partially used billing periods. In the event of a prolonged service outage (more than 48 consecutive hours) a pro-rata credit for the affected period will be applied to the next billing cycle.

This Billing section applies only to the Pro tier. The Free tier remains free with no payment or account of any kind.

Acceptable use

You agree to use this tool only to diagnose RSS or Atom feeds that you own or have permission to inspect. You may not use this tool to probe third-party servers in a manner that exceeds normal diagnostic usage. The tool fetches only the URL you submit — it does not crawl, follow links, download media, or submit anything to any directory on your behalf.

No warranties

This tool is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The diagnostic reports are generated from the fetched feed document and reflect what the tool found — they do not guarantee that a feed is free of all defects or compatible with every reader. The tool may not be able to reach some hosts (including hosts behind Cloudflare) due to platform limitations, and will report those as unreachable rather than as closed.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the operator of this service shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use this tool, including but not limited to reliance on diagnostic reports that may be incomplete or inaccurate due to the limitations described above.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing law

No governing law or jurisdiction is specified because no legal entity has been registered. This section will be filled when the operator registers the entity.
